I’m Amy, and I create healthy, real-food based recipes that are always gluten-free and dairy-free. When I went gluten-free more than 6 years ago, I had to get creative in the kitchen.
I realized that in having to “get creative” I could also incorporate un-processed, more nutrient-rich, plant-focused ingredients into my dishes. The recipes that I create and share with you are always going to be filled with ingredients I feel great about, and that will help you feel great.
I consider myself an active, fit person who is always looking forward to getting stronger in my next workout at the gym, always down for trying a new boot camp or spin class, setting new goals and physical challenges for myself, and getting outside to enjoy nature. I’m also a recreational runner and triathlete, and a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS-ISSA). My husband is a high-level competitive runner and running coach, as well as a full-time mechanical engineer, so we’re always on the go in one way or another!
In my house, we know how important it is to fuel your body with quality food — real, whole foods that are anti-inflammatory and often centered around plants — to get the most out of your workout, your run, your day at work, spending time with your loved ones, and maintaining your energy levels to get you through whatever your day throws at you.
The recipes I share will be healthy, but they will also be fun, accessible, and totally re-creatable by you. If you’re a busy working person like I am, who also squeezes in your workouts, having a social life, all while being as healthy as possible, you’ll find these recipes easy to make, satisfying, and delicious. Most importantly, they will fuel you for the things you love to do.
